“Me, Too!”

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For just as the sufferings of Christ are ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ. 2 Corinthians 1:3-5

I had this really good idea for today’s blog post.

I was reading through comments on the Hinds Feet study site, and found the perfect topic.

So, I went to my blog program.

I realized I needed to send out a short post on the Hinds Feet Study.

I created a new page and wrote out the post - and published it.

I made sure it posted by going to the Hinds Feet Study site. Lately somethings aren’t posting properly.

After I got to the site, I saw there were a few new comments that I hadn’t read yet, so I started reading and posting replies.

When I posted my replies, I saw my gravatar wasn’t posting correctly.  I was some kind of pink/white square instead of my usual picture. That needed fixing.

So, I went to my profile page on my Intense Debates comments provider to try to fix the picture. It wouldn’t allow me to change the picture. I clicked on make changes.

That sent me to my WordPress site, which is my sign in for Intense Debates. (Don’t ask me why it works that way …)

Because I changed my email address on WordPress (Yes, I actually got rid of an email addy!), my picture would no longer load on Wordpress under the new email.

I had to change my profile.

After uploading the picture, I went back to Intense Debate to make sure it loaded there.

It did.

I noticed a few new comments in the study and went to read those.

Realizing I had a 100 comment limit on my site and we were up to 78 comments, I went back to Intense Debate to increase the comment limit.

After I changed that, I figured I’d better check my email again.  (Just because.) I read quite a few emails and started thinking about what I should do next.

Ah, the blog post!  I’d almost forgotten!

So, after getting all of the above done, (it took a lot less time to write about it than do it, trust me!) I came back here to my blog program to begin writing today’s post for you. You know, that wonderful topic for today!

One problem.

By the time I made it back here, I had completely forgotten what that wonderful topic was.

I started wondering how many other people might have the same problem.  It would be so reassuring to know I wasn’t the only one who dealt with this scatterbrained approach to life. I find great comfort in knowing I am not alone in my experiences.

Then suddenly I remembered the topic.

I was going to write about how validating it is to put something out there and have someone respond.

“Me, too!”

Guess I wrote that post after all.
